What are the drawing sizes?We have two standard sizes: How do I choose a photo?The simplest and easiest rule of thumb is that THE BETTER WE SEE THE COLOUR OF BOTH EYES, the better the drawing will be. There is a minimum FACE size we can draw from. (Passport photos tend to be too small). Eyes must be open and the features as clear as possible. Remember that what we don’t see, we have to imagine or invent. Please only give us one photo per face you want drawn (your choice is undoubtedly better than ours!). Can I order online?Of course! Click HERE and follow the steps. It’s quick and simple! Is it safe to pay online?Yes. PayPal, our payment partner, makes it quick, easy, and safe!. Do you draw portraits of pets?We certainly do! We also draw portraits of pets and their owners… Can you draw group portraits from separate photos?Of course! Do you draw group portraits of more than 5 faces?We draw only up to 5 faces in a portrait. In our experience, larger group portraits do not come out very well. You could try to separate larger groups by, for example, boys and girls. Can I request the same artist who drew my last portrait?There is no problem in asking for the same artist (in fact, they are usually very flattered!). You just have to choose whoever you want in Step2 of the Ordering Process. Will my photograph be returned?Most definitely! We always send back the photograph(s) together with the drawing. However, please don’t send us your only copy of a special photograph; although we take the utmost care, photos could be mislaid in transit. Are we able to choose from a range of frames?We leave that to the experts on framing, we are just experts on drawing. We also need to keep our costs low (standard procedures) in order to be able to give you this price for your drawing. Can you draw from copyrighted photographs (professionally taken)?Yes we can, but we do need a written authorisation from the owner of the copyright (the photographer) giving us, Genuine European Portraits, the permission to draw from the photograph. How will I receive my portrait?After being drawn and framed, the portrait will be delivered by UPS right to your doorstep. What if I'm not totally satisfied with my drawing?No problem!
